Feasibility studies
FERROSTAAL prepares feasibility studies as comprehensive assessments of the techno-economic feasibility of decarbonization projects. These studies look in detail at the client's existing requirements and framework conditions and evaluate, among other things, selected technology solutions and products in terms of location, feedstock suitability, integration possibilities into existing processes, logistics and infrastructure, applicable regulations, off-take and economics.
The feasibility study includes a thorough analysis of all relevant factors, including financial projections, resource requirements and other operational considerations. Finally, the study arrives at a preliminary and cost estimate that provides a preliminary understanding of the investment requirements and potential returns of the project and forms the basis for informed decision-making.
