Your role with us
As Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team in project execution across all locations. You will be responsible for the technical management of plant project planning and the organizational handling of engineering, including the installation and commissioning phase.
Your main tasks
- Independent creation and implementation of engineering concepts and scopes (scope and split of engineering) in the context of tenders (EPC and EPC-M business) and feasibility studies
- Independent creation and monitoring of engineering tasks in the project execution phase (incl. owner's engineer functions) including the construction site phase
- Interdisciplinary coordination and handling of all engineering activities in the offer and execution phase, including the construction site phase and commissioning through to acceptance
- Technical management of the engineering teams (disciplines), as well as coordination and supervision of engineering partners
- Consolidation, coordination and harmonization of all technical interfaces in major projects
Your profile
- Degree in process engineering or mechanical engineering
- > 10 years proven professional experience in leading interdisciplinary and international engineering teams, preferably in plant engineering. Construction site experience is an advantage
- Ideally a higher level of certification in project management (PMP)
- Experienced with MS Office applications, planning software and engineering software, e.g. for process calculation
- Fluent in German and English, helpful also in Spanish and/or French, as well as intercultural competence
- High quality and cost awareness, coupled with strong customer orientation
- Willingness to travel (mainly abroad) for cross-location engineering coordination
