Decarbonization with synthetic fuels
FERROSTAAL is developing a concept study on behalf of the state-owned oil and gas company ENAP to decarbonize part of the refinery business.

The report, which is due to be completed in the first quarter of 2024, will examine alternatives for the production of this type of fuel, evaluating in a first phase the construction of a 10 MW e-fuel plant with an annual production capacity of 3,500 tons at the company's sites.

If built, this plant would be the largest of its kind in Chile and could thus become a scalable model for the future.
