Due to our longstanding experience and local presence we have strong partnerships with many well-known equipment suppliers for turbines, boilers, cooling systems and more. Our tailor made solutions guarantee a maximum of flexibility for our customers’ projects. Depending on the availability of water and the environmental regulations, we are able to implement wet or dry cooling technologies for the simple cycle power plants.

Ferrostaal is particularly qualified and experienced in the construction of combined-cycle power plants (Greenfield) but also in converting simple-cycle gas turbine power plants to combined cycle power plants (brownfield). After conversion, these plants have a higher thermal efficiency with lower emissions per unit of power produced.
