Two of the largest gas and steam power plants in Venezuela
Ferrostaal ProCon de Venezuela C.A., in cooperation with our international and local partners, has put into effect a contract to build two Combined Cycle Power Plants in Zulia state. The Tamare and Bachaquero power plants, that constitute the largest gas and steam power plant project in the history of the operator ENELVEN, are designed to feed 495 megawatts and 525 megawatts, respectively, into the country’s energy system and secure the power supply of the whole region.
Together with our local and international partners, Ferrostaal ProCon de Venezuela, as general contractor, takes responsibility for onshore portion covering the planning, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of both turn key plants.
