Project Development
Power projects right from the start
We develop projects from the outset: we ensure a successful basic framework with feasibility studies, technical studies, business plans and market analysis. We work closely with our customers right from the start. In the concept phase we define together with our partners, the tasks, organisation, schedule and budget plan for joint project development.
Pre-Development
In the initial stages, we check that the necessary conditions for successful project development are in place:
- Legal situation regarding permissions
- Feedstock availability and localisation of site
- Overall plant concept
- Preliminary business / financial analysis
Active Development
Following initial review the project has good prospects of success, we prepare a bankable feasibility study:
- Incorporation of Special Purpose Company, shareholdings
- Authorisations / Permissions
- Finalizing of business plan (incl. investment plan, financial analysis)
- Signing of all agreements
- Involvement of financial arranger and in-house financial structuring
The financial close then marks the start of the implementation phase of the project – with detailed time and budget planning, professional risk management and commercial success.
Project Development is part of our extensive Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC)-package for gas-fired combined-cycle, simple-cycle and co-generation power plants.
